I'm a long time business owner from Hazel, SD. Growing up on a dairy farm and continuing in various ag related business, I've a lifetime of experience in agriculture. I currently serve on the Professional Appraisers Association of South Dakota (PAASD) board of directors, I'm also a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA), and a member of the Appraisal Institute.

Melissa Roe - Residential Appraiser

Melissa Roe is a Certified Residential Appraiser who has been in the appraisal industry since 2014. Before training to be an appraiser, Melissa was the Deputy Director of Equalization for Hamlin County. Working primarily with lenders for secondary market loans, she is familiar with several counties in the northeast area of South Dakota including: Codington, Day, Deuel, Clark, Brookings, Hamlin, Grant, Roberts, Kingsbury, and Beadle. She is a residential appraiser familiar with small towns and acreages, as well as local lakes and larger towns of Watertown, Brookings, Huron, Milbank, etc. She also has experience and knowledge with small income 2-4 family properties.


Melissa is a graduate of Viterbo University, and is originally from the Twin Cities. She now resides on a small acreage in rural Hayti with her husband, Kent. In her free time she enjoys baking and cooking, quilting and sewing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Paul Reisch - Real Estate Appraiser

Paul has a passion for real estate and service to agriculture. He has over 40 years of experience in providing objective appraisal valuation services on agricultural farms, acreages, and livestock facilities.

Paul is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (South Dakota License
#142CG) and holds the the Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) designation, which Is awarded by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) to those members who have had  years of  experience, are technically trained, and have passed a rigid examination. 


Paul has served in SD ASFMRA Chapter Leadership roles since 1998, including Chapter President in 2003-2004 and Chapter Secretary since
2012. He has also served in ASFMRA National Leadership roles since 2017. He has been a South Dakota Appraiser Certification Program Appraiser Advisory Council Member
Since January 2021.
